Family Fun
For families that are looking for chilled out fun and making as many memories as possible (and aiming to make the best use of a multipass!) we recommend the following activities.
Swimming pools
We have two fabulous swimming pools for you to dive into, one being the Espace Aquatique centre and the other is Aquariaz located in Avoriaz.
Espace Aquatique in the centre of Morzine offers indoor and outdoor pools for both children and adults. Outside you can relax and sunbathe beside an Olympic-size swimming pool, a children’s pool and an exciting little waterpark for toddlers.
Take yourself on a day of adventure up to Aquariaz and dive into a tropical experience filled with slides, gentle currents, the massaging bubbles of an outdoor jacuzzi and a playful splash area for little ones.
Lakes
The largest of our lakes is Lac de Montriond. Here you can find a day's worth of activities in perfectly picturesque scenery. There is kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, sunbathing, a mini-golf course, walking routes (including ascending to Cascade d’Ardent) and for those with children, a playpark and a child-friendly sized lake. After all of those adventures, you can find yourself enjoying an ice cold drink at the Hotel du Lac to take in the stunning surroundings.
If you have children, the Lac des Ecoles up in Les Gets is a must visit. Here you have the breathtaking views of the valley and of Mont Chéry. On the lake you will find a great inflatable water course, and surrounding the lake is a fun-filled water splash pad, a pump track, and a great playpark. Load your bags, pack a picnic and set off for a great family day out.
A Day at the Dereche
Take yourself on a wonderful walk, following the Dranse de Morzine where you can say hello to the horses and goats, explore a playpark and choose one (or more) of the Indianaventures activities. They can be found 5 minutes walk away from the arena car park, where you can enjoy pedal go karts, an epic high ropes course and a horse riding school.
Luge / Summer Sledge
During the summer months, the Summer Sledge runs down the left side of the Pléney. It can be accessed by the La Crusaz chairlift. Please note it is closed during wet weather.
