Tour de France 2018 1.jpg

The Grimpee d’Avoriaz is one of the oldest cycle races in France. It started when the Tour de France first came through the valley in 1975. A casual bike race for all abilities, stretches over 14.6km with 860m and 6% incline. The record of 33 minutes has stood for 28 years swet by Bernard Hinault! Try and beat that! To take part, make your way down to the Morzine Mairie for a 9am start.

Head to the beach! The tourist office square gets transformed in to a really sandy beach with inflatables, deck chairs, games for all the family and a lookout tower. Along with some live music the best part is it’s free!

The KMV de Nautaux is a slightly different trail running race, running up one vertical kilometre as fast as possible. What makes the Nantaux KMV especially hard is the length of the trail. It's only 2.2km making it an extremely steep race.

Montriond Triathlon.png

This is a super fun event organised by Buzz Performance at the end of the summer. Billed as possibly the most beautiful sprint triathlon in the world. It involves swimming in and running around Lac de Montriond and cycling on the completely closed lower part of the Col de la Verte (no major climbs). A great race for beginners and experienced triathletes.
